Does my personal property coverage in my homeowner policy cover jewelry/valuables?

Does my personal property coverage in my homeowner policy cover jewelry/valuables?

To a certain small sublimit subject to the policy deductible, yes. Each homeowner policy sets sub limits for the amount of coverage provided for your valuables; jewelry, watches, furs, firearms, silverware, coins, stamps, musical instruments and collectibles at around $2,500 per item subject to the deductible.

It is of great importance if you own valuable items with a significant value of $3,000 or more, you purchase additional coverage so in the event of a loss you are able to recover your precious belongings. Please call us to discuss, so we can make sure all your items are properly covered
