March 2022 - Do you think you know Peter Kyriakodis, Co-Founder and Partner of Emmanuel Insurance? Get to know Peter in these 10 11 questions.

1. What's something you're planning on doing in the next year that you've never done?
   I am planning on raising more money for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia cardiology center than I ever have! I am also planning on becoming more active within that community, and in finding ways to help the families, kiddos, and hospital.
    
2. If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
   Patience!!!
    
3. What is one surprising or interesting fact about you that people may not know about?
   I attended Valley Forge Military Academy for High School.
    
4. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet... and what would you want to discuss?
   Probably my grandfather who passed away when I was 6. I would love to ask him about our family in Greece, and what his journey to this country was like as he passed through Ellis Island as an immigrant.
    
5. What's your favorite place that you've ever visited?
   Santorini Greece - Literally Heaven on Earth.
    
6. When you were 10, what did you see yourself being when you grew up?
   Sports Agent
    
7. What's something that recently made you smile?
   Getting a goodbye kiss from my 18-month old daughter Eleni... I am still smiling!
    
8. What would you like to do when you retire?
   WORK! LOL. I love putting my time and energy into things that interest me. I think in that during "retirement" life, I will be using my skills and resources to help those less fortunate and create ways to give back to our communities and children.
    
9. What advice would you give to someone who is interested in joining the Emmanuel team?
   Be authentic, be willing to grind and have fun! Emmanuel Insurance is an organization that cares about its people, its clients, and a company that really embraces the family unit as a work force. It's a progressive organization that is growing beyond its expectations, and that is exclusively due to the people that comprise it. If you are a weak link, you won't be around very long. If you are dynamic, you will have a bright and prosperous future and will have fun!
    
10. What personal characteristic do you believe is key in order to be successful in your role at Emmanuel?
    Grit, optimism, courage, empathy, love in your heart for others, generosity, a willingness to never back down from a challenge, and more so to be able to overcome all obstacles.
     
11. What is the weirdest, most unorthodox, or most interesting job you've ever had?
    I sold mattresses for a few years; It taught me tremendous life lessons and was an experience I will always acknowledge as a tipping point to my overall career achievements.
